Instruments in South Florida

At Music Brainworks of South Florida, we value music and it starts with our instruments. Our teachers give specified  care to all students when teaching them the piano, singing and violin. We use our years of experience to simplify the instrument and teach them based on their current level.

Whether you or your child is a beginner or even if the student is advanced, our teachers are trained to further develop their skills. We assess the skills of the student  and develop a custom plan to help them advance musically.

Our Music Programs:

Lessons For Little Ones

This is an individual class for typical and special needs students from 3 to 5 years old with a total duration of 30 minutes, which takes place in the academy. It is a very active class where several activities are developed with a well-structured methodology that through play, imitation, movement, dance, singing,  and the use of instruments help the child to grow. More neural connections are developed in the child by activating the auditory, cognitive, language, coordination, focus, and in this way.

Motivation for learning the piano, an instrument that will lead to the connection with its two hemispheres of the brain, contributes to the development of their abilities and talents, creating a healthier child mentally, emotionally and physically.

Pianotherapy

This is a group class of 6 students with special needs; one hour weekly. Our pianotherapy program uses the piano as a teaching tool yielding therapeutic results. One of the objectives of this program is social interaction, because it is here, through imitation (Mirror Neurons) that students grow. When the students can mirror others, they must first recognize the presence of their peers and then become motivated to participate. Once they see themselves also creating music their sense of pride and accomplishment increases. Another objective is the coordination of the student’s body, hands, eyes, ears and overall performance while playing the piano. The groups are homogeneous.

Rhythm through Dance Lessons

We are excited to announce that dance lessons will be coming to Music Brainworks soon. We will be working closely with small groups to encourage the movement of their bodies in a form of creativity that allows the students to express themselves.

Ensemble of Voices- Musical Theatre

This inclusive program is designed for group classes. Typical and special needs students will have the opportunity to explore all their talents and abilities as singers, playwrights, and dancers on stage. These classes will last 2 hours a week, where they will receive music, body expression and theater classes with three different teachers. In the end, everyone will be part of the cast and will commit to perform in the recitals proposed by the academy.

Each student will develop an individual study plan according to their abilities and talents. Classes will be 30, 45 or 60 minutes at the discretion of the teacher, once or twice a week.
